| Role Description: |
The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the provision of technical support and product training to Customers, Account Managers, Inside Sales Coordinators, Representatives & Distributors, EPCs, MICCs etc, as well as producing formal technical/commercial quotations in response to enquiries received from Customers, Reps & Distributors. In addition the Technical Support Specialist will support the sales team through information gathering on market trends, and competitor activity, assisting in the production and implementation of mailshots, seminars, presentations and exhibitions as required from a technical perspective, and assisting with other Sales related activity and reporting at the request of the Manager in order to win/retain business. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in a technical support position, with specific product & industry application knowledge (ideally within MTL’s current product portfolio and industry sector). Candidates must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Business Packages/CRM systems is essential, and ideally they will have experience working within an SAP environment. We are looking for a self starter who is confident in their technical ability, and is able to prioritize their workload to ensure that deadlines are met and customers are satisfied.

| Role Description: |
The Instrument Technician will be responsible for the repair, test and calibration of manufactured gas analyzers in the Hitech gas business unit, based in Luton, UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a test and repair position in a similar industry, preferably with a technical vocational qualification and skills biased towards electronics. The successful applicant will be trained to run inert, flammable and toxic gasses to test and calibrate instruments. A sound technical knowledge of process control will be a distinct advantage. Applicants must be computer literate and be a team player. |
